The Friends of the Northwest Branch rely on your support to continue in their mission. There are many ways that you can help, whether by donating books, money, or your time.
Book and monetary donations
Books can be donated for the book sales by delivering them to the branch staff during operating hours. Money can be donated directly using the cash boxes located within the library.
There are also books located on shelves near the entrance between book sales. We ask that you leave a donation of $1/paperback and $2/hardcover.

Kroger donates 1% of your purchase to the Friends of the Northwest Branch.

Become a Friend
You too can become a Friend of the Northwest Branch. Dues are $10/year for families and $5/year for seniors.
Join us!
If you want to be more actively involved, we are always looking for help. We rely on volunteers to sort books, help set-up, and take-down our book sales, as well as for running the sales themselves.
We are also looking for volunteers to fill officer positions or simply participate on the board. In these volunteer positions, you’ll actively participate in decision-making and long term planning for the organization. No prior experience is necessary.
Joining the board involves:
- Attending regular board meetings
- Participating in monthly book sorts
- Helping run fundraising events
